Detroit Community Solutions (DCS) announces the launch of its new website, dcsol.org, expanding its online presence and inviting residents, community organizations and supporters to connect with its mission of providing sustainable solutions to community challenges.
The launch marks a new chapter in how DCS shares its work, reaches the people it serves and engages partners committed to stronger neighborhoods. The website provides a starting point for learning about the organization and its focus on community development, health equity, quality affordable housing and youth leadership development.
“Strong communities begin when people have access to opportunity, support and one another,” said Bishop Tony Russell, CEO of Detroit Community Solutions. “Our new website is an invitation to connect with us, understand our mission and become part of the work. Whether you are a resident seeking information, an organization looking to partner or a supporter ready to make a difference, we want you to know there is a place for you in building a stronger Detroit.”
Formerly known as Detroit Community Initiative, DCS has advocated for the quality of life of Northeast Detroit residents since 1995. Its work brings together community education, collaboration and programs that address neighborhood needs and support long-term stability.
The new website supports that mission by giving DCS an additional way to introduce its work to new audiences and encourage community involvement. As the organization continues building relationships across Detroit, its online presence will help connect those who want to contribute with the mission they can support.
Residents, prospective partners and supporters are encouraged to visit dcsol.org to learn more about Detroit Community Solutions and contact the organization about getting involved.
